Good value keyboard.

Great design, great build quality. The included keycaps are pretty good, with decently sharp letters and very minor inconsistencies. The included matcha switches are alright; the factory lube is slightly inconsistent with some switches being scratchier than others, but otherwise a decent, surprisingly loud and clacky linear switch. The wireless modes do not have very noticeable latency when typing. However, I don't like the battery indicator being constantly on when using the wired mode, and I don't think there is an option to change it in the software currently.

First of all, I would suggest updating the delivery time from 3–5 days to over a week, as it takes much longer than stated. The keyboard itself is good. However, you wrote that the switches are pre-lubed, which is not true. I received mine completely dry — the switches felt very dry and were sticking during use. After just two hours, it started to feel like a two-dollar keyboard. So if you're buying one, make sure to get some lube so you can fix it right away. On the bottom of the keyboard, there is a glass panel that arrived completely scratched.
Overall, the product itself is good — it just needs more lube on the switches.

I was really surprised how heavy this keyboard was when I received it, weighing over 3.5 lbs!But aside from that, it is a really nice keyboard. The dimension of it are quite small, about the size of the keyboard on my 15" laptop, but that also makes it more portable. The keys aren't quite as loud as the ones back in the early 90s, but still have a decent clack and they respond very well. The keyboard is backlit and the lights come on as soon as you click a button. There is also a dial in the top right corner that controls the volume.Bluetooth was picked up quickly and easily on my Windows 11 laptop and everything works well. This is a nice keyboard, aside from it's weight.

It's been a long time since I've used a mechanical keyboard, and using this one makes me realize how much I've missed it. Although I don't recall them being quite this heavy, the Attack Shark has an appreciable weight that feels like it will last a good, long time in use. The best part for me is the satisfying tactile response of the keys, making for much more confident typing. I also like the multiple connection methods, allowing for multi device use. The volume control button at the top right is another great and distinct feature. The keys are very responsive, perfect for writing or gaming. Unfortunately, the keyboard lacks a number pad, so it's not going to be quite as useful for office applications, but for home use or gaming sessions, it's going to be very satisfying.

This Attack Shark keyboard is my first modern mechanical keyboard. I had not used a mechanical keyboard for over 20 years! I have to say that I fell in love hard with this X86 keyboard. It is 3 different connectivity modes: bluetooth, 2.4Hz with a neat little dongle and wired. I've tried both wired and bluetooth and it worked great. The keyboard has a large capacity rechargeable battery, ideal for long periods of use between charges. The Attack Shark X86 keyboard is very heavy. Although I knew that it was made of aluminum, I was really surprised by the weight this since aluminum is usually quite a light metal. The finish on the metal is beautiful, it is matte but glitters in very subtle way. You can only see this from up close. The keycaps are OEM profile keys. They are comfortable and typing makes a nice "clicky" sound that's not too loud. The colors layout nice and subtle. I personally would have preferred a little less black but that's just a matter of taste. The RGB lights are great and you can change the colors, patterns and animation/breathing speeds with simple keyboard shortcuts all explained in a handy cheatsheet provided with the keyboard. I used the web driver (URL provided in the product photos here) to make my own RBG LED layouts. It's great!I'm using the keyboard on Mac and was a bit disturbed by the placement of the command keys and option/alt keys but changed them to be more like Mac keyboards via the web driver. You can also change them in the Mac keyboard settings. The knob is great to control the volume and turn the LEDs on/off. However, I did not manage to make it work for brightness.Lastly, I would like to mention that the asking price for this keyboard is a bit higher here than on the Attack Shark website. At the time of writing, it is $50 cheaper on their website than here. However, on the website, you have to pay for shipping and duties and taxes separately so you might be better off ordering it here on Amazon.I really like this keyboard and I highly recommend it. I would also recommend to get a wrist rest as the keyboard is quite thick.

Excellent keyboard, I love it.

Excellent build quality, perfect keyboard. One single down point is that PgUp keycap was missing (I've go 2x PgDn),but that's really nothing. This is my second Attack Shark keyboard (have a x85 pro) and I have a mouse as well.

The ATTACK SHARK X86 exceeded my expectations in both performance and design. As someone who splits time between gaming and working from home, this keyboard hits the sweet spot. For gaming, the 75% layout keeps everything compact without sacrificing essential keys. The response time is snappy, and the keys feel smooth and precise—great for FPS and MMO games alike. The aluminum casing gives it a sturdy, high-end feel, and it doesn't slide around during intense sessions. Plus, the RGB lighting adds a vibrant touch to my setup with tons of customization options. On the productivity side, typing is a joy. The tactile feedback makes long hours of writing and editing much more comfortable, and the smaller footprint frees up desk space for my mouse and documents. It even makes my workspace look more professional. The hot-swappable switches are a huge bonus too, making it easy to customize the feel without buying a new board.Highly recommended if you want one keyboard that performs exceptionally well in both work and play!

Solid Build, Stunning Design, but Needs Customization

The Attack Shark x86 aluminum mechanical keyboard has some impressive strengths but also a few challenges. First off, the construction is incredible—super heavy, rock solid, and clearly high quality. The sparkling aluminum design is absolutely stunning and really sets it apart from other keyboards. The stabilizers are perfectly tuned, but I wasn’t a fan of the switches it came with. Despite being linear, they sounded too clicky for my taste, I don’t know how to describe the sound. Finding the right combination of switches and keycaps was a bit of a struggle. I tried several setups with little success until I settled on Epomaker Wisteria linear switches paired with thick bunny keycaps. The sound is okay now—not my favorite, but decent enough to use occasionally. Unlike some other keyboards that sound great out of the box, this one takes some effort to customize and tune.If you’re considering this keyboard, just know it may need some work to suit your preferences. While it’s a solid choice overall, at the same price point, there are other aluminum keyboards that sound amazing straight out of the box.

Pretty Good

Pretty good prebuilt mechanical keyboard. Comes with a decent set of pbt keycaps and good sounding and feeling switches. Has nice RGB if you like that and the stabs are lubed pretty well except for my spacebar was a little over lubed.

Extremely Heavy for Portability

I'm new to mechanical keyboards so based on my office use, it delivers on performance and build quality. The CNC aluminum frame feels premium and the hot-swappable linear switches provide a smooth typing experience. Just note that this keyboard is extremely heavy, which makes it impractical to carry around. While the weight adds to the premium feel, it’s definitely more suited for a stationary desk setup than portable use.

Heavy board. Nice feel, fairly quiet keys. The color leds are bright and have several settings and modes. The metal knob is a nice touch. This board is like 3.5 pounds. Super heavy.I thought I was going to be using it temporarily and that may be the case, but so far I'm still enjoying it and may use it longer than I expected. I have one other Attack Shark keyboard, and that one had a QA issue, where it would duplicate certain keys. This one is seemingly better. I haven't noticed anything out of order.

This keyboard is fantastic. It's super sturdy and downright heavy, and looks super good. The connectivity is great, and the keys feel amazing. Super clicky and the performance is great. The colours are fantastic; the software allows for a lot of configuration, but the default settings are really cool as is. I kind of wish it had a numpad, but I don't miss it that much. This is the best keyboard I've ever used hands down.

This small, very compact keyboard is surprisingly heavy, far heavier than I expected given the claimed Aluminium construction. That aside, though, the keys are amazing. I absolutely love the feel of these keys. They have what seems to me to be the perfect travel, perfect tactile response. They sound great too, slightly subdued rather than the harsh clack of some other mechanicals. It comes with a cable, a couple of spare switches and a key puller. There’s also a dedicated wifi dongle tucked into a thoughtful little slot on the back of the keyboard. Setup is easy allowing you to choose between wifi or Bluetooth connections with a slider switch next to the dongle slot. The weight means it’s probably not something you’re going to want to carry around but it will definitely stay where you want it to on your desk. Very well made and looks great. Nice keyboard.
